Man... Just woke up from a dream. Was dreaming about preparing for a test/exam. Funny thing is, the test/exam has got nothing to do with any of the courses I'm doing... it is more like a dish of Electronics spiced up with a whiff of Signals and decorated with Materials.
Geez like it, I actually woke up, with blurry eyes- TRYING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM THAT I WAS ASKING MYSELF IN THE DREAM AT THE END. Took my blurry mind 1 min to realise it is a mixture of 3 courses...
I took a similar picture last year , 28th of June 2008. Today, 20th of June 2009, the hive is still standing strong~ How amazing is that! I would say the weathering have only destroy at most 5%- Only 5%.
But thats not the reason why I took the pics, THIS is the true reason. Some unknown creature had laid it's egg inside the hive chambers... creepy... 
19 chambers in total, 4 chambers with eggs and 2 eggs in each- Making a total of 8 eggs.
Today's dream is the second time in the week, dreaming about tests and exams. I would most probably guess that it is caused by the tension of waiting for the release of the results... whew... I am actually pretty happy to be dreaming about such things, kinda refreshes my studies for me, reminding myself not to forget or slack too much.
I seriously doubt those are eggs of wasps, haha~ wasp's eggs I believed looks like tiny cocoon-sag. These ones looks more like miniature dinosaur eggs(not that I've seen one! ~ Impression from Jurrasic Park la~), in other words- Lizard eggs.
Oval in shape, cresent white and logical size for a lizard's egg. Can't wait for it to hatch! Hopefully, I won't miss it! (which obviously lies a high chance that I'll missed it~ T___T)
Clever lizard mother... I suppose there can't possibly be a better, safer place to lay her eggs. Those are STRONG, STURDY mud hives. Really creepy but interesting improvisations~
Reminds me of HDB flats...I suppose we too have the same natural instinct to build high-rise "hives" too.
Out of the 8 eggs, 3 eggs have hatched! Have to fire a flash to capture the hatched egg~ yesterday night, I found a baby lizard in the toilet~ Really adorable creature, the same kind which I found in Cape Town last year licking the ground. Striped on the back, with snake-like eyes~ gentle creature---- at least to us Humans! :D
Results should be out sometime next week or the week after, it seems that my holidays cannot begin to feel like one till I see my results~
