Pollenation!
School started and in a flash~ it ended!
Term 1 is over~! Amazingly, it started and ended...
haha, tinking back, I went to school for the first time on Feb15(the day after valentines) and now March the 21th, just over 1 month- so many , many things had happened..
Didn't update my blog for a month! And now, I am feeling really abit rusty :P haha~
Early morning at Oosterzee Station- 6:15am
Well~ Travelling to school everyday seems like a breeze now, it is pretty casual and relaxing matter, except the fact that waking up at 0515am every weekdays isn't such a cool thing- TOTALLY. I WANT ZzzZZzz...ZzzZzz...Zzzz...(RINGG!!!! noOOOooOoooo....!!)
Got up and preparing my little cute yellow lunch box of a standard meal of 4 slices of bread with peanut butter and jam! Occasionally, aunty makes apple pie~ which totally make my day:)!(yeah!) Aunty will sometimes kindly put an apple on my bag~
Having bread toast with tomato or bread with yoghurt is my breakfast everyday-not too bad. Chat with Tom, another early bird~
Munch.. Munch.. Munch.. then when the time is 0645...0650..0651...
CHIONG AH!!!
To the toilet la...standard lifestyle from army la... haha...
A quick 5 mins~ run back to wash dishes and VROOM! I am driving 100km/h down Voortrekker road with my "black beauty" to Oosterzee station!
Sigh~ always bought the wrong tickets... I buy weekly tickets of different price everyweek.. damn..sometimes I bought the right price of R60+ and the following week, I bought it for R20+,

I didn't want to make a hassle, too tired and lazy. So in the end,I sometimes get a cheaper ride.
Seen this kind of sign boards before? (HAHAHA~~~~"NO DANGEROUS WEAPONS ALLOWED" esp. the bottom right sign makes me laugh! It is a symbol of African bush weapons!)
Haha~ talking about train rides, last week, I bought the 3rd class train ticket by mistake, and I ended up sitting in a less comfy train cabin- less white ppl and more locals.
Well~ I was on the way home from school taking the train from Rosebank to Capetown, I suddenly sense that people are staring at me, I looked to my left I saw some students looking at me, 4 black high school girls. They are looking at me like for the first time they're looking at a alien! Staring and discussing, it was really really a awkard moment for me!! Goodness, I was trying to control my laughter, when I realise I am like some kind of animal in a zoo to them! Finally, I smiled and giggle to myself, haha~ look at them and laughed abit! After that they realised that I noticed and stopped looking at me~ haha~
Dried up pan~
Train rides are particularly interesting~ ESPECIALLY IN THE 3RD-CLASS CABINS!
One day in the morning(of the 3rd class week), I was reading my notes as usual, there is this two man having a conversation about God and Jesus, one of them is talking really loudly and he was on the full on engine promoting Jesus and God, trying to convince his friend about how good is God and why Jesus gave his blood and .(dot) .(dot) .(dot), everyone in the cabin is listening-no choice. Like some christian station Live broadcasting.
Suddenly, he said the following phrase which make me look at him and stunned:
"THE GOVERNMENT ARE ALL DEVILS!"
I was going"oh~ shi*...this guy either have no brains or just full of guts.."
Then someone sitting infront confronted him, and shouted " YOU ARE THE DEVIL!" "DON'T TALK #*&$ OR I'LL &%@ YOU" "TALKING @*#" in a threatening tone... the "pastor" suddenly lowered his voice and start talking about Jesus again~ ending the drama.
As the "pastor" and his friend is heading for the exit, I heard his friend say to the "pastor" :
"HOW could you say that there? There are people going to the Government sector to work man!"
Geez like it...I thought about wat he said and I thought, he is just another wanna-be, no matter wat the Government is good or bad, they still provided your everything, he has absolutely no right to say "THE GOVERNMENT ARE ALL DEVILS".
At Rosebank station, people are rushing for the train! Coz the train comes only every 1/2 hr!
Somehow, there are so many "Pastor-wanna-be's" over here!
The other time I met a TRUE-WANNA BE! He is like the extreme case. First, I didn't notice him coz I have my Sony Ericsson EAR-BUD(those one where you stuff in your ear to prevent outside noises) on, then suddenly, I start to feel vibrations everytime this man walk past me...not once, not twice, but every 30secs.
On the way home...
Feeling weird, I looked up and saw this 50 year old white man, shouting at the top of this voice , praising the Lord and screaming about politics and Christianity! WAT DA~ I can hear him thru my earbud! my bag and legs vibrate to his voice` I took my earbud off to listen properly, his voice echo thru the cabin, as he walk to and fro from one end to the other, shouting and shouting, occasionally, jumping up and down as he shouts to emphasize his point(that REALLY cracks me up and I giggled pretty hard, the person next to me looks at me and the woman infront also grinned at the "pastor") . He is like out of control...totally, I start to wonder if it is his job to promote christianity or how his life is like... makes me wonder and laugh at the same time.
WAT DA BEEEEEP* is wrong with some ppl?!!!
Got to the lower campus, waiting for Jamie shuttle to arrive to bring me and the rest to the upper campus, somewhere on the foot of that mountain.(oh~ I am in a line, and this line is long......it is like a double S-shaped line..)
Life was as usual full of ups and down, and in university doesn't make any exception~ Starting off was really not a good start, I am struggling in school in the beginning, trying to get used to travelling, and catching up with the work, getting my mind psyche and used to studying, it's been 3 years.
Now, I have Maths, Physics, Engineering Studies, Engineer Computing, Engineering Drawings~ Most of the courses I am coping or starting to cope- Except Maths.
Maths is the most HEAD-ACHING subject for me now, doing Maths in high school is a fun and enjoyable course, but now, in university level, I felt I am in a Greek course. It is challenging, it is very interesting , I love it as always but now, going to lectures are just another note taking session, figuring hard on what he is teaching...in the Maths lectures is like a "Concentration camp" you just lose your concentration for one moment, you will have ABSOLUTELY no idea wat he is talking about, ending up just taking down notes... and try figure it out on your own at home.
This is infamous lecture hall for Maths- Zoo1.
Lecturer Dr. Robertson. ( This lecturer is the most amazing lecturer I've ever met in my life, he teach maths out of his head, he never ever refer to a guideline or a book to write notes or lecture! Everything is purely out of his head, the notes, the examples, the definitions, the proofs, is all done on the spot, from his head, to his words, to his chalk. A classic example of TALK AND CHALK.)
I am enjoying Physics more than I ever thought I would! haha~ physic is indeed fun and to me, it is like magic. Picked up a new phrase from the Physics lecturer when he ask us how is our test: "So, how was your test, do you think it hard? it is alright? or are we undermining your intelligence?" haha~ loved that phrase.
